The snowfall might be covering the Josefov Fortress right now, but Brutal Assault 2026 is heating up fast. Twelve new acts have been confirmed for the August 5–8, 2026 edition in Jaroměř, Czech Republic: Baest, Demolition Hammer, Grave, Immolation, Left To Die, Monstrosity, Mortal Sin, PeelingFlesh, Revocation, Snět, Vulvodynia, and Wormed.
This batch leans hard into extreme and technical death metal, and it’s an announcement that will make a lot of devoted underground fans very happy. Immolation alone justify the trek to Bohemia. Combined with the already confirmed Cryptopsy, Devourment, and Deicide, the death metal credentials of this year’s edition are truly beyond question.
