Brutal Assault 2026 keeps growing. Seven new acts have been confirmed for the Josefov Fortress in Jaroměř, Czech Republic: Antimatter, Carpathian Forest, Coven, Dusk, Health, Mordloch, and Unearth.
The range here is characteristically Brutal Assault — atmospheric doom, Norwegian black metal, occult proto-metal, industrial noise-rock, and metalcore all in one breath. The August 5–8, 2026 edition is shaping up as the most genre-spanning in the festival’s long history, and with the medieval stone walls of Josefov as a backdrop, every one of these sets is going to hit differently.
The festival carries its motto „Against violence and intolerance” with genuine commitment, making it not just a musical event but a statement of community.
