Metallica has released official pro-shot footage of their performance of the classic instrumental „The Call Of Ktulu,” filmed live at London Stadium on July 5. The performance was part of the band’s ongoing M72 World Tour, which recently completed a two-night run in the UK capital.
The release of the video coincides with the announcement of a new book, Metallica: Album By Album, set for publication on September 15. Written by music historian Martin Popoff, the book features a roundtable of contributors including Kim Thayil and Frank Bello debating every era of the band’s evolution.
Metallica’s next scheduled performance will take place at the Sphere in Las Vegas on October 1. The band also shared additional footage of „Hardwired” and „Fade To Black” from their recent European stadium dates to give fans a preview of the high-scale production.
