Norwegian heavy rock export Audrey Horne has premiered a playful new music video for their latest single, „God Damn Beautiful.” The track is a highlight from the band’s upcoming eighth studio album, Achilles, which is set for release on September 4 via Napalm Records.
The groovy single brings bass player Espen Lien to center stage on lead vocals for a track heavily inspired by the twin-guitar sound of Thin Lizzy. The band joked about the internal competition for the limelight, noting that Lien’s vocal performance has „pushed Toschie into the shadows” for this specific track.
Following the release of Achilles, the group—which includes members of Enslaved and Sahg—will embark on an extensive international headline tour across Europe this autumn. The new record features 11 tracks that balance high-energy rock with more melodic and progressive elements.
