Baltimore death metal stalwarts Misery Index have released their first new music in four years with the single „Feral Future.” Arriving alongside an official lyric video, the track serves as a precursor to the band’s upcoming eighth full-length album and their summer headline tour.
„Feral Future” continues the band’s tradition of sharp social commentary, framing the natural world as something to be reclaimed rather than dominated [Source 1]. The track features a high-intensity combination of death metal and grindcore built around the relentless drumming of Adam Jarvis and driving grooves from guitarists Mark Kloeppel and Darin Morris.
The band will kick off their „An Epitaph for Endtimes” tour on July 28 in Helsinki. The run includes appearances at major European festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Party.San Open Air, and Summer Breeze throughout August.
