Odium Records has officially announced the upcoming release of VII, the seventh studio album from the veteran Polish metal group Hell-Born. Founded in 1996 by Baal (co-founder of Behemoth) and Les (formerly of Damnation and Behemoth), the band continues to refine its blend of old-school black, death, and thrash metal. VII is described as the band’s most complex and apocalyptic work to date, containing seven tracks recorded at Creme de la Creme Studio.
The album will be available in multiple formats, including a unique 11-panel digipak in the shape of an inverted cross, gatefold vinyl, and a limited wooden box set. Simultaneously, Odium Records will release a 30th-anniversary reissue of the band’s self-titled 1996 EP. This reissue will be available for the first time on vinyl and CD, featuring new mastering and archival photographs. Both releases are scheduled for the coming months, marking a significant return for the underground icons.
