Canadian hardcore punk group Cancer Bats will release their eighth studio album, Give Me Dirt, on August 7, 2026. The album is the follow-up to their 2022 JUNO-nominated record, Psychic Jailbreak. For this release, the band has signed with Marshall Records for global distribution, while partnering with New Damage Records in Canada and Bat Skull Records. The announcement coincides with the band’s ongoing 20th-anniversary tour across Canada.
Frontman Liam Cormier remarked that the band remains focused on creating energetic music while maintaining their independent punk rock ethos. The album announcement was accompanied by the premiere of a music video for the new single, “Stay Stuck.” Additionally, the band has been confirmed to perform at the 2026 Austin City Limits Festival in October.
