Colorado-based progressive ensemble Dreadnought has returned with a new single and video titled „The Archive.” The track is the first offering from their upcoming album, Wars of Spirit // Wards Of Light, which will be released through the Vesperian label.
The band describes their sound as „World Building Metal Ethera,” utilizing synthesizers and electronic elements to create expansive musical worlds. „The Archive” was produced by Julius Mauranen, known for his work with Oranssi Pazuzu, and highlights the band’s ambition through atmospheric and cinematic visuals.
Wars of Spirit // Wards Of Light is being hailed as the most clearly defined and reinvented chapter of the band’s career to date. Dreadnought will support the new release with a series of tour dates this summer, including a performance at the Fire in the Mountains festival on July 26.
