Aaron Gillespie, drummer and vocalist for Underoath, has participated in an exclusive session with Drumeo to analyze the technical evolution of the band’s discography. The session covers performances of eleven tracks, ranging from early breakthroughs such as They’re Only Chasing Safety to the darker stylistic shifts found on Define The Great Line.

The career retrospective coincides with the continued promotion of Underoath’s latest album, The Place After This One, which was released on March 28th, 2025, via MNRK Heavy. The band is recognized for its significant role in defining the 2000s metalcore sound and its recent efforts to expand its audience through experimental heavy music.
