Swedish metal act Speglas is set to release their debut full-length album, Endarkenment, Being & Death, on February 27, 2026, via Trust No One Recordings. Formed in 2015, the band has previously released two EPs that established their sound as a fusion of the visceral intensity of black and death metal with the melodic weight of classic heavy metal.
The album was mixed by Simon Söderberg at Studio Mayfire and mastered by Magnus Lindberg. Lead singer and guitarist Isak Rosemarin has stated that the material is influenced by Nietzschean philosophy, specifically exploring themes of the „death of the collective human spirit.” The single The Spirit Postmortem precedes the release, characterized by its melancholic atmosphere balanced with aggressive rhythmic sections.
