Danish death metal act Shadowspawn is set to release their fourth studio album, Cadaver Dogs, on February 20, 2026. The record will be issued by the Polish label Via Nocturna. Vocalist Bue Jensen has indicated that the lyrical content serves as a critique of religious oppression and political dictatorships. Recording took place at Corpsekennel Spawncamp, with mixing and mastering by Kelvin Dam. To support the release, the band has premiered a music video for the track He Who Slept in Fire. The album is expected to solidify the band’s position in the European death metal scene with its blend of groove and old-school intensity.
