Swedish doom metal trio Monolord has released a brand-new live video for the song „Iodine,” a standout track from their latest studio album, Neverending. The video provides a glimpse into the band’s crushing live sound and atmospheric stage presence.
The clip features a combination of professional live footage and behind-the-scenes material recorded at the band’s recent hometown show in Gothenburg. Monolord has earned global acclaim as one of heavy music’s most nuanced and introspective bands, and the new video reinforces their status within the stoner and doom genres.
The release arrives just as the band prepares for a return to the United States for a string of dates in late August. Additionally, Monolord has confirmed European tour dates for November, including appearances in Warsaw at Hydrozagadka on November 7 and Kraków at Hype Park on November 8, supported by Mars Red Sky.
The Neverending album was produced by Sylvia Massy and has been hailed as a significant evolution for the three-piece. Monolord continues to push the boundaries of slow-tempo heavy music, blending massive riffs with melodic sensibilities and lyrical depth.
