German instrumental post-metal ensemble Long Distance Calling has released a music video for the song „The Spiral.” The composition is featured on their forthcoming album, The Phantom Void, scheduled for release on April 10, 2026, under the EarMusic label. This single follows the previously released track „A Secret Place”.
The Phantom Void contains seven tracks, including „Nocturnal,” „Shattered,” and „Sinister Companion.” The band is recognized for its ability to blend heavy metal foundations with atmospheric post-rock structures without the use of permanent vocals. This new release continues their exploration of conceptual themes through complex, instrumental arrangements. Pre-orders for the album are currently available through official channels.
