United Kingdom technical death metal unit Ingested has officially released its latest studio album, Denigration, on May 8, 2026, through Metal Blade Records. The album represents a new chapter for the band, highlighting a period of reinvention and a sharpened creative purpose. Founding members Sean Hynes and Lyn Jeffs remain at the core of the group’s evolution, maintaining the precision brutality and dynamic songwriting that transitioned the band from underground slam pioneers to a recognized international force.
To mark the release, Ingested presented a lyric video for the track „Oaths Betrayed.” According to official statements from the band, the song utilizes the language of faith, war, and destiny to critique systems perceived as abusive of those concepts. The album features a new voice at the helm, further defining the band’s forward-driving direction within the extreme metal landscape.
