Boston-based mathcore pioneers Converge have announced the release of their latest studio album, titled Hum Of Hurt. The record is scheduled for global release on June 5, 2026, through Epitaph Records. To coincide with the announcement, the band has made the track „Doom In Bloom” available for digital consumption.
The production, recording, and mixing for the new effort were overseen by guitarist Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio, while mastering was completed by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. Hum Of Hurt consists of ten tracks, including „Slip the Noose 02,” „Detonator 05,” and the title track. This release follows the band’s established trajectory of technical, high-intensity compositions. The group has confirmed that the new material continues to explore complex rhythmic structures and aggressive vocal delivery, consistent with their established discography.
