Bruce Dickinson has officially completed the vocal recording sessions for his next solo studio album. The Iron Maiden vocalist confirmed the news on July 31 via social media.

The project is being produced by Brendan Duffey, with sessions concluding just before the producer headed to Florida for the mixing phase. This new record will serve as the follow-up to Bruce Dickinson’s 2024 release, The Mandrake Project. While a specific title has not yet been revealed, the album is currently slated for a 2027 release.

During a recent interview, Bruce Dickinson disclosed that the album features a collaboration with his son, Austin, who is a songwriter and former vocalist for Rise To Remain and As Lions. The track written by his son is described as one of the key pieces of the upcoming collection.

The recording process involved several collaborators, including members of his studio team who helped finalize the material in what the singer dubbed the „doom room.” Bruce Dickinson has expressed great enthusiasm for the creative synergy involved in working with his son, noting that the collaboration felt like a natural extension of their shared musical DNA.
