Denver-based cosmic death metal ensemble Blood Incantation has scheduled a series of cinema screenings across Europe and the UK for their documentary film, All Gates Open (In Search Of Absolute Elsewhere). The 73-minute film will be presented in select theaters throughout late May and June 2026. Originally released as a component of the deluxe Absolute Elsewhere artbook, the documentary chronicles the band’s one-month residency at Berlin’s Hansa Tonstudios during the recording of their 2024 album.
Directed by Niklas Tschaikowsky and Tammo Dehn, the film provides a detailed look at the band’s creative process, including improvisations, rehearsals, and philosophical discussions. The band stated that the screenings are intended to allow fans to experience the film at full volume and on a large scale. The project captures the immersive cultural background of Berlin and the collaborative efforts that shaped their critically acclaimed release. In tandem with the theater screenings, the All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is also being highlighted for enthusiasts of the band’s experimental death metal sound. Tickets for the events have officially been placed on sale.
