The Norwegian black metal band Vreid has released a video for the track From These Woods, a single from their forthcoming album The Skies Turn Black, scheduled for release on March 6, 2026. The album will be published through Season Of Mist. Recording and mixing were handled by Anders Nordengen at Ampertone Studio, with mastering by Tony Lindgren.
Vreid, originating from the members of the influential band Windir, has maintained a career characterized by a „Sognametal” aesthetic—a mixture of black metal and melodic traditional metal. The new single indicates a continuation of this legacy, focusing on atmospheric density and rhythmic drive. The album artwork was designed by Kim Diaz Holm.
