German power metal legends Helloween are making significant strides on their next studio album. According to vocalist Michael Kiske, the recording and creative process is at least 90% complete as of late July 2026.

Kiske spoke with Rock Mania regarding the sessions for the new material, which reportedly carries the working title Giants Monsters. The singer noted that the writing and recording for this project have been considerably easier than their previous self-titled effort.

The smooth progress is attributed to the established chemistry within the band’s current expanded lineup. Kiske mentioned that the creative flow has been efficient, allowing the group to focus on the quality of the tracks without the hurdles they faced in the past.

Fans are anticipating a late 2026 or early 2027 release date for the new record. Helloween remains one of the most active legacy acts in power metal, and this upcoming release will further solidify their revitalized career.
