Icelandic black metal band Forsmán, based in Kópavogur, has officially announced its debut full-length effort, titled Brenndar Rústir & Fuðrandi Fjörur. The album is scheduled to reach audiences on June 26th, 2026, via the Vesperian label. This release follows the band’s debut EP, Dönsum Í Logans Ljóma, and aims to further establish their presence within the evolving extreme metal underground of Iceland.

The cover art for the new record was executed by the renowned artist Paolo Girardi, whose portfolio includes work for Power Trip, Revocation, and Sulphur Aeon. To coincide with the announcement, Forsmán unveiled the album’s opening track, „Drottinn Fyrirgefur Allt,” which provides an initial perspective on the cold and commanding sonic landscape developed throughout the record. Pre-orders for Brenndar Rústir & Fuðrandi Fjörur are currently available on major digital platforms.
