Progressive metal icon Devin Townsend has announced a headlining tour across the UK and Europe for late 2026. Titled the Metamorphosis solo tour, the run of dates is scheduled for September and October 2026 and marks Townsend’s return to the live stage following a period of studio focus. The tour is in support of his new album, The Moth, which is set for release on May 29, 2026, through InsideOut Music.
Townsend’s work is known for its vast stylistic range, often incorporating elements of extreme metal, industrial, and ambient music. The Moth is his latest creative venture and is expected to further his reputation for technical innovation and complex composition. The upcoming European dates represent a significant return for the artist, as he has not toured extensively since his last major project cycle. The tour will cover multiple territories, providing a broad platform for the debut of his new material.
