Old-school death metal unit Chainsword has released a cover of the Cannibal Corpse track „Death Walking Terror,” recorded for the tribute album Butchered by Death. The session took place in January 2025 at Sound of Records under the direction of Mikołaj Kiciak, as part of the recordings for their Chapter XII release. The mix was handled by Haldor Grunberg of Satanic Audio.
The band also confirmed a significant lineup change. New drummer Herr T.Fugit (known from Parahuman and Tankograd) has officially replaced founding member Herr Feldgrau, who had been with the group since 2016. Chainsword remains focused on a thematic aesthetic involving Warhammer 40k and 20th-century military history.
