During a recent appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, Bruce Dickinson provided new details regarding the follow-up to his 2024 solo effort, The Mandrake Project. The Iron Maiden frontman revealed that his next record will include a collaboration with his son, Austin Dickinson.
The 35-year-old Austin, formerly of Rise To Remain and As Lions, contributed a song that Bruce Dickinson describes as one of the key tracks on the album. The elder Dickinson praised his son’s creative talents in both music and scriptwriting during an interview with TalkShopLive.
The currently untitled album is expected to be released in early 2027. Fans will likely get their first taste of the new material later this year, as Bruce Dickinson confirmed plans to release several tracks and music videos before the end of 2026.
Dickinson also noted that he expects 2027 to be an exceptionally busy year for his solo career. In the meantime, the vocalist is scheduled to make a rare appearance at Fan Expo Canada in late August 2026 to meet with fans.
