Okkultist Initiates New Narrative Chapter with “Teeth of the Hydra” Featuring Fernando Ribeiro

Portuguese extreme metal collective Okkultist has resurfaced with their latest single, “Teeth of the Hydra,” a composition that serves as a narrative threshold for the band’s evolving lore. Released through Alma Mater Records, the track represents their first output of new material since the 2023 full-length O.M.E.N. and is distinguished by a commanding guest performance from Fernando Ribeiro of Moonspell. The track balances raw aggression with a ceremonial execution, utilizing a sonic grammar that was refined through the technical expertise of the band’s core contributors. Eduardo Sinatra handled the production duties, while Ricardo Borges was responsible for the mixing. The final mastering was completed by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street, ensuring a high-fidelity polish on the track’s crushing riffs and ritualistic atmosphere.
