Maltese death metal stalwarts Beheaded are gearing up for the release of their groundbreaking new album, Għadam, set to drop on July 25 via Agonia Records. The band has also unveiled a chilling trailer for the track “Il-Kittieb,” offering a glimpse into the album’s dark vision.
Għadam marks a bold evolution for Beheaded, being their first death metal album written entirely in Maltese. The record weaves together Maltese horror, literature, and brutal death metal into a cohesive concept, drawing inspiration from the works of Maltese horror author Anton Grasso, particularly his book of the same name. The “Il-Kittieb” music video was directed and filmed by Raoul Noise.
